Blessing: Growth.
Blessing: Growth.
Growth and multiplication through our experiences. Knowing through our experiences, then certainty, knowledge, which is fulfilled in unshakable faith.
Genesis 1:20–23
The appearance of the blessing also receives an explanation in the text:
“Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”
Based on the previous cycles of creation, on the appearing timeline both the birds and the aquatic animals continuously multiply, just as our knowledge grows. The process of knowing is precisely defined, arranged in sequence according to the network of relationships among the laws, and therefore development is continuous.
The blessing essentially makes us aware that all our experiences arrive in a defined order in the eternal present, as we experience the world. During our life, development is not always visible through the current knowledge available to us, yet this verse states that all our experiences, all our interpretations, and all our emotions appear in a defined order, which God defined during the six cycles of creation, and since God completed creation after the sixth day, this statement also becomes final by the end of the chapter.
The blessing represents a kind of authentication, declaring that every event takes place “according to God’s will,” appears according to God’s laws, because all our experiences are part of the process of knowing, just as all our interpretations are part of the process of knowing, regardless of what they may be in the present, whether they are false or erroneous according to our current knowledge.
