Greater Light: Intellect.
Greater Light: Intellect.
Genesis 1:14–19
The Intellect was already defined earlier; in the first creation cycle, we interpreted light as the Intellect.
Here, however, in the fourth creation cycle, a new definition was necessary because time was defined in the second cycle and, after the appearance of time, the sequence of experiences in the third cycle. The Intellect, as light, is present timelessly and without limitation, but the Human experiences the appearing world through the body's sensory organs in a manner limited in both time and space. For the Human, therefore, the Intellect manifests itself in the amount of information that the body's sensory organs are capable of perceiving.
The Greater Light thus represents the definitions that can be created for consciousness on the basis of the information that consciousness is already capable of comprehending because it has experienced the necessary information.
The Intellect thus creates definitions from the information presented to it by consciousness, and consciousness identifies with these definitions; these definitions become the definitions known by the Conscious I.
The Greater Light thus means the definitions that can be created through the experiences perceived by consciousness, with which consciousness identifies, and it means the conscious I of the Human.
The Intellect, which is unlimited and timeless because it was defined in the first cycle, appears to consciousness in a limited and time-defined manner, to the extent that its experiences so far and its perceptual abilities make possible.
